Cisco Packet Tracer FAQ
Admin Answer
Open the PC or device configuration.
Go to Desktop > IP Configuration.
Assign a Static IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway manually.
Example: PC1 → IP: 192.168.1.2 / Mask: 255.255.255.0 / Gateway: 192.168.1.1
PC2 → IP: 192.168.1.3 / Mask: 255.255.255.0 / Gateway: 192.168.1.1
If you are using a DHCP server, make sure the DHCP service is enabled and properly configured.
After assigning correct IP settings, try pinging again. You should now get successful replies.
